Apple Seeds OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan Beta Five to Developers and Public Beta Testers

Apple on Wednesday, released Beta 5 of OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan to developers for testing purposes, a mere one week after the fourth seed. The beta – Build 15G26a – is available for download through the Apple Developer Center or via the “Update” tab in the Mac App Store.

As with the fifth iOS 9.3.3 beta, this update appears to be an under-the-hood performance and bug fixes type of update. If we hear of any new features in today’s new beta, we’ll update you right here, so stay tuned.

In other Mac beta related news, Apple released the second seed of the new macOS Sierra operating system on Tuesday.
