T-Mobile Adds Apple Music Video Content, 15 Other Video Providers to its Binge On Program

T-Mobile has added video content from Apple Music, along with fifteen other video content providers, to its Binge On program. The popular program allows T-Mobile subscribers to view over 100 different video streaming services without any of the data used counting toward their monthly data cap.

T-Mobile:

… Today, ABC, Apple Music, Disney, DISH Anywhere, FOX NOW and NAT GEO TV, along with CEEK VR, D-PAN.TV – the sign language channel, DramaFever, Shalom World and others are joining the Un-carrier’s iconic video streaming initiative. And, as always, T-Mobile customers can still watch up to three-times longer on ALL other video services, making their high-speed data stretch even farther.

In a video to announce the additions, bombastic T-Mobile CEO John Legere couldn’t resist taking a pot shot at competitors AT&T and Verizon.

“Over 100 streaming services on board in just eight months and 765 MILLION hours of video streamed data-free so far. Binge On’s popularity with consumers and video providers is amazing!” said Legere. “I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – it’s all about listening to your customers and doing what they want!  So glad Dumb and Dumber keep getting it wrong!”

The entire list of new streaming providers coming onboard Binge On include:

  • ABC
  • Apple Music
  • Big Ten Network
  • CEEK VR
  • DISH Anywhere
  • Disney Channel
  • Disney Jr.
  • Disney XD
  • D-PAN.TV
  • DramaFever
  • FOX NOW
  • FXNOW
  • NAT GEO TV
  • Shalom World
  • Sioeye
  • Tubi TV

T-Mobile has steadily been increasing the number of streaming providers, both for music and video, that are available via their Binge On and Music Freedom programs. Apple Music’s audio content has been available for no data charges streaming via Music Freedom since July of 2015.

While the Binge On program only delivers video in 480p resolution, the program has proven popular with customers who view large amounts of streaming video, as they no longer have to worry about running up against their monthly data allotment.
