Apple Gets the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium Ready for its September 7th Media Event

The weekend saw Apple getting ready for its big September 7th media event at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. The company has erected window decorations and flags with the corporate logo. Additionally, they hung themed banners and signs featuring the “colorful dots on a black background” event theme.

The event is set to kickoff Wednesday, September 7 at the Bill Graham Civic Center in San Francisco at 10AM Pacific Time (1PM Eastern Time). It is expected to feature the Cupertino firm’s new flagship iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus handsets. The second-generation Apple Watch 2 is expected to also make its debut, along with new Beats headsets.

Also expected at the shindig are the announcement of release dates for the company’s iOS 10, macOS Sierra, watchOS 3, and tvOS 10 operating systems.

While new MacBooks are said to be on the way, they are not expected to be unveiled at Wednesday’s event, instead debuting sometime later in the fall.

Apple will offer live streaming for the event via its website on the Mac*, and also on iOS and Apple TV devices. As usual, MacTrast will be providing live coverage of the event, and will followup with coverage of everything that is announced on stage. See you on the 7th.

*Requirements: Live streaming uses Apple’s HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) technology. HLS requires an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with Safari on iOS 7.0 or later, a Mac with Safari 6.0.5 or later on OS X v10.8.5 or later, or a PC with Microsoft Edge on Windows 10. Streaming via Apple TV requires an Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation) with software 6.2 or later or an Apple TV (4th generation).
