Apple Stores in major cities like Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Diego, and San Francisco, are showing good availability at the time of this article. Of course availability depends on the carrier and storage capacity you’re looking for.

The iStockNow website offers users the ability to filter their search by iPhone 7/7 Plus, color, storage capacity, location, and wireless carrier. A map is then displayed, showing availability. Apple Store locations with stock matching the selected criteria show on the map with a green marker, stores that are out of stock for that model show a red marker. Clicking on a marker opens a displays a model-by-model listing of availability, and also displays the time the stock information was last updated.

Jet Black iPhone 7 models have proven to be quite popular, and have been in short supply from the first day of pre-orders, right up until recently. The shortage stems from the heavy demand, as well as a low casing production yield rate of 60-70%. The high-gloss finish of the jet black model is created via a nine-step anodization and polishing process.

If you don’t see any local Apple Stores with stock of the Jet Black iPhone 7/7 Plus, check back periodically, as stock arrives at Apple Stores quite often.
