Apple Reveals (PRODUCT)RED Versions of Solo3 Wireless Headphones and Beats Pill+ Speaker

Apple has unveiled new (PRODUCT)RED Solo3 Wireless Headphones and Beats Pill+ Speaker. both products will soon be available in a “Citrus Red” color option. All proceeds from the sales of (PRODUCT)RED items go towards the global fight to prevent AIDS and HIV.

Currently, Apple’s website show both products as”coming soon.” The new items are priced the same as the other color options, with the Beats Solo3 Wireless Headphones in Citrus Red priced at $299.95, and the Citrus Red Beats Pill+ Speaker priced at $229.95.

Apple has long been involved in a partnership with the (PRODUCT)RED charity, giving all proceeds from the sales of the special edition products to the global fight against AIDS and HIV. The proceeds finance research and education efforts to fight the diseases. Over the course of the years long partnership, Apple has donated over $100 million from the sales of their (PRODUCT)RED products.

In addition to the special products, the Cupertino firm also annually joins in recognizing World AIDS Day by turning the Apple logos on their retail stores around the world a bright red. The yearly event is to highlight the global fight to prevent AIDS and HIV, as well as promote education about the diseases.
