AT&T’s DirecTV Now Streaming TV Service Launches Nov. 30 from $35 per Month

AT&T has announced their new DirecTV Now streaming television service will launch on November 30th, starting at 60+ channels for $35 per month. For a limited time, the “Go Big” package with more than 100 channels, will be available for just $35 per month.

The service will be available on the following devices at launch: Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Android mobile devices and tablets, iPhone, iPad and Apple TV devices, Chromecast (Android at launch; iOS in 2017), Google Cast-enabled LeEco ecotvs and VIZIO SmartCast Displays, Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Safari web browsers. Roku streaming players and Roku TV models3, Amazon Fire tablets, and Smart TVs from Samsung and other leading brands will be added in 2017.

DIRECTV NOW programming packages will be available in the following tiers:

  • Live a Little – $35 / month (60+ channels)
  • Just Right – $50 / month (80+ channels)
  • Go Big – $60 / month (100+ channels)
  • Gotta Have it – $70 / month (120+ channels)

HBO and Cinemax can be added for just $5 each per month in addition to any of the base programming packages. CBS and Showtime will not be available at launch, as negotiations are ongoing.

The “Go Big” package will be available for pre-orders for $35 per month, and will stay there.
