Apple Publishes AirPods User Guides for New Owners

If you’re expecting your new AirPods to be delivered, or plan on trying your luck in stores on Monday, you might want to read up on how to best use your new precious. Luckily, earlier this week, Apple published three new guides for AirPods users.

The new Apple AirPod guides are:

Connecting your AirPods to your iPhone is a bit different than most Bluetooth headphones, and Siri works quite well with the your new best buds.

The new headphones went on sale via Apple’s online store on Tuesday, with an initial delivery estimate of December 21. An ordering frenzy quickly pushed delivery dates back to the current estimate of six weeks.

Those who weren’t able to get an order in for a pre-Christmas delivery, or just like instant gratification, will be glad to know there will be a limited supply of the wireless earbuds available in Apple’s retail stores, and those of many third-party Apple resellers, on Monday, December 19. It isn’t known how many units of the earbuds each Apple retail store or third-party seller will receive, but the headphones are likely to be in short supply.

Apple’s AirPods are a premium wireless headphone solution, which are Bluetooth connected, and powered by Apple’s own in-house W1 chip. The earbuds are completely wireless, with no cords connecting them to the device, or to each other.

The much-anticipated in-ear wireless earbuds were delayed by more than a month from their initial shipping date, as production delays pushed the launch back. Reports indicated Apple was having issues getting audio to sync between both wireless earbuds.
