Apple Store App for iOS Gets an Update – Gains One-Tap Apple Watch Purchases, Rich Notifications

Apple on Friday updated its Apple Store app for the iOS platform. Version 4.1 brings rich notifications support, and the ability to make one-tap purchases via the Apple Watch.

What’s New in Version 4.1

– Apple Store App supports IOS10 rich notifications for many activities.
– Buy accessories from your favorites with a single tap on your Apple Watch using Apple Pay.
– Various improvements and performance enhancements.

The app now supports iOS 10 rich notifications, which offer more information than previous versions did, as well as interactive features without the need to unlock your device.

Apple Store app users can now make one-tap purchases from their “Favorites” list, directly from their Apple Watch. Favorites listed items will be visible on the Watch, and can be bought by simply tapping on them on the Watch. The purchased is paid for via Apple Pay.

The update also includes the ever popular “improvements and performance enhancements.”
