A world with two kingdoms: the Emblian Empire, which wishes to rule all worlds, and the Askran Kingdom, which stands in its way.
You are a summoner with the special ability to call upon legendary Heroes from different Fire Emblem worlds. In order to save the Kingdom of Askr from destruction, join the Order of Heroes and face a never-ending challenge.

The app wasn’t available in the U.S. App Store as of the time of this writing, but it should hit U.S. shores soon. The new game adopts the tactical role-playing gameplay of the popular franchise. The game is optimized for mobile devices, offering battle maps designed specifically for display on smartphone screens.

Using touch-and-drag controls, players attack their foes by dragging their allies over the enemy’s forces, in a turn based battle. Acting as a “summoner,” players recruit heroes from a number of worlds in the “Fire Emblem” universe. During the turn-based battles, a hero’s skills and weapons help decide the outcome of battles.

The game offers three modes. The Training Tower offers scenarios to earn rewards and experience points. Hero Battles are limited-time fights in which victory brings characters into your roster. Arena Duels involves multiplayer battles in which high scores and rankings generate rewards.

Fire Emblem Heroes is free, and is rolling out to the iOS App Store. [GET IT HERE]  (If it’s not available in your area, wait a while and try again.) The full list of launch countries can be found in a link in the top-right corner of the Fire Emblem Heroes website.
