Apple Offering Special “Earth Day Challenge” Reward Badge and iMessage Stickers in Activity App

To recognize Earth Day 2017 on April 22, Apple has created a special “Earth Day Challenge” in its Activity app. The challenge awards a special achievement badge for those achieving at least 30 minutes of exercise that day. Users are also rewarded with special stickers for use in iMessage.

Earth Day Challenge

Get outside and celebrate Earth Day on April 22 and earn this award. Go for a walk, run, cycle, wheelchair, or swim workout of 30 minutes or more in the Workout app or in any third party app that writes those workouts to Health. You will also earn special stickers for Messages.

The achievement appears to be rolling out right now, as it showed up in my iPhone’s Activity app this morning. In addition to the achievement badge, users will also receive access to special stickers for use in the iOS 10 Messages app, so they can brag about their achievement to friends and family.
