iWork Apps on macOS and iOS Get Updates – Numbers Gains Numeric Keypad on iPad

Apple on Tuesday updated its iWork suite of app for both the macOS and iOS platforms. Perhaps the most notable update comes to Numbers on the iPad, where it gains a numeric keypad.

The update is the first since Apple announced the productivity suite — which includes Pages, Numbers, and Keynote — would be available free to all Mac and iOS users.

The new versions are said to offer stability and performance improvements, in addition to the numeric keypad for Numbers on the iPad. The new keypad feature should improve the efficiency of entering data in spreadsheets for iPad users.

Pages, Numbers, and Keynote for iOS are all available for free, from the App Store. All three apps require iOS 10.0 or later.

Pages, Numbers, and Keynote for macOS are all available for free, from the Mac App Store. All three apps require macOS 10.12 or later.
