Turner Classic Movie today brings its popular “Watch TCM” iOS app to fourth generation and fifth-generation Apple TV 4K devices. The free app offers thousand of classic film on demand to Turner Classic Movie network subscribers.
Turner Classic Movies presents WATCH TCM, a “TV Everywhere” service that lets you enjoy unlimited access to the best of TCM, at no additional cost with your TV subscription. Not your ordinary “TV Everywhere” service, WATCH TCM is a content rich and in-depth movie companion that lets you experience the richly textured world of classic movies that only Turner Classic Movies can bring you.
You need to get TCM at home with either a cable or satellite TV package in order to access WATCH TCM.

Welcome to the redesigned Watch TCM app! We’ve made some major updates to our app in design, stability, and features.
Some of the new and improved features include:
- New and improved design: Now find movies, live broadcasts, and movie information faster and easier
- Picture-in-picture – Users on supported iPads can continue watching Watch TCM films while browsing the web or using other apps.
- Apple Single Sign-on integration with supported providers
- Added support for AirPlay and Mirroring
- Improved Search
- Improved Watchlist – Users can play or add a movie to a Watchlist on one device and resume watching from a different device. Expiring soon labeling for titles leaving the service.
- Browse by TCM Collections – Quickly access On Demand films by popular themes such as Star of the Month, Noir Alley, 31 Days of Oscar, and more.
Viewers will need to subscribe to TCM as a part of their current cable or satellite TV package, and they’ll need to sync their log-in information with the app to access the film library. IN addition to on-demand content, the app also offers live streams from the east coast and west coast feeds of the Turner Classic Movies channel.
