Apple on Thursday seeded the first beta of their upcoming macOS Mojave 10.14.1 update to public beta testers. The release comes two days following the developer seed of the update, and three days following the release of macOS Mojave 10.14 to the general public.

The first beta seed will need to be installed using the appropriate profile from the Apple Public Beta Program site. From then on, later betas can be downloaded and installed using the “Software Updates” panel in System Preferences.

The 10.14.1 update brings back support for Group FaceTime, which was removed during 10.14 beta testing. The feature allows users to chat with up to 32 people at once.

It isn’t known exactly what other changes and improvement the first Mojave beta brings to the table, other than the ever-popular bug fixes and performance improvements. However, as we learn more we will update this article, so stay tuned.
