Amazon Alexa App Gets an Update – Includes Revamped User Interface, Easier Set Up of Alexa-Enabled Device

Amazon has updated their Alexa app for iOS devices. The update offers a redesigned user interface, easier set up of Alexa-enabled devices, and more.

New updates to the Amazon Alexa App make it even easier to set up Alexa-enabled devices and get more out of Alexa: 

  • Monitor and control multiple smart home devices at home or on the go
  • Keep in touch with Drop In or connect with your Alexa contacts
  • Add Bluetooth speakers to Multi-Room Music groups

The new design offers new Devices and Groups tabs in the lower right-hand of the screen. On the devices screen, users will see all of their devices in a strip along the top of the screen, allowing users to control their Alexa-enabled devices, smart home accessories, and more. On the same screen, Alexa devices are grouped be room on cards with on/off buttons, as well as the ability to edit the settings for the devices.

The Amazon Alexa app is free and is available for iPhone and iPad devices, in the App Store. [GET IT HERE]
