Apple on Tuesday premiered this year’s holiday ad, just the latest of its memorable series of holiday promos from over the years. The ad encourages using the Mac and iPad to create art to share with the world.
This year’s video is a three-minute animated spot entitled “Share Your Gifts” and features a creative young lady that keeps her creations a secret, until one day they are unleashed upon the world for all to enjoy, thanks to her dog.
The music in the spot was written and performed by 16-year-old songwriter Billie Eilish. The song is called “Come Out and Play,” and is available via iTunes and on Apple Music.
In addition to the ad spot, Apple has also shared a behind the scenes video that offers a look at the making of the ad spot.
Also available are videos that show how the folks who worked on the ad spot use their devices to create their work.
