Blizzard Bringing Diablo Series to iOS With ‘Diablo Immortal’

Activision Blizzard has announced it is bringing the popular Diablo series of games to iOS devices. “Diablo Immortal” will support up to four players at a time. The announcement came on Friday at the annual Blizzcon event.

The game takes place between the events of Diablo II and Diablo III. The Worldstone has been shattered and Skarn, Herald of Terror is collecting the shards to resurrect Diablo, who reigns over the Realm of Terror in the Burning Hells.

Blizzard has created six character classes: barbarian, wizard, demon hunter, monk, crusader, and necromancer. New abilities and realms will also be available, with moving platforms and vertical movement.

A release date, price and require specifications are yet to be announced.
