Apple Releases Another Humorous Ad Featuring iPhone XR/XS Portrait Mode’s Depth Control Feature

Apple on Sunday shared another humorous ad that promotes the Depth Control feature found on the company’s iPhone XR and iPhone XS lineup of smartphones.

The ad features a couple readying for bed following a day of outdoor fun. The man shows the woman a photo her took of her, and she notices her co-worker Alejandro (who is “so funny”), in the background of the shot.

The man, who appears to get a bit jealous, uses Depth Control to blur out Alejandro from the shot. “That’s better.”

The ad is the second video shared this month by Apple featuring the Depth Control feature of its iPhone lineup. An ad released in the middle of the month features two moms looking at a recently snapped photo, when one mom asks the other, “Did you bokeh my child?”

Depth Control on the iPhone XR/XS/Xs Max allows users to adjust the depth of field of a photo, either before or after the shot is taken.
