Nike Run Club iOS App Adds Custom Challenges Feature

Nike has updated its Nike Run Club app for iOS. Version 5.22 offers a new Custom Challenges feature, allowing users to create their own workout challenges and invite other Nike Run Club users to compete.

What’s New

Here’s what’s new with this update:

PHONE

– Custom Challenges. Now you can create your own Challenge. Invite your friends, set a goal and crush it together! Check your progress on the Leaderboard and earn Achievements when you cross the finish line.

– General bug fixes and enhancements.

PRO-TIP: Track your shoe mileage and see how far you run in each pair. Tap the shoe icon on the top left in Quickstart to get started.

APPLE WATCH

– General bug fixes and enhancements.

IMPORTANT: You need to authorize NRC to access Motion and Fitness Activity in order to track a run.

For the best results on Apple Watch, we recommend using watchOS 5.0 or above.

The update is just the latest in regular updates of the Run Club app by Nike. A recent update added new complications for Apple Watch Series 4 watch faces.

Nike Run Club is free and is available for the iPhone and Apple Watch in the App Store. [GET IT HERE]
