Apple Releases First Public Betas of macOS Catalina, iPad OS, iOS 13, tvOS 13

Apple on Monday released the first public beta versions of its four upcoming new operating systems, macOS Catalina, iOS 13, iPadOS, and tvOS 13.

The first public beta builds of the new operating systems can be downloaded via the Apple Beta Software Program website by users signed up to take part in the testing program. The public beta versions of the operating systems usually trail the release of their developer beta by a short period of time.

Prior to Monday’s public beta release, Apple had released two beta versions of the operating systems. The most recent release was last week, on June 17. Usually, the contents of the public beta version are functionally similar ot the most recent developer beta.

Apple is also offering developer an public betas for iOS 12.4, tvOS 12.4, watchOS 5.3, and macOS 10.14.6. Public beta versions of those versions are also expected.

As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on your daily driver iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Apple Watch or Mac computer, instead only install it on a device set aside for testing purposes.
