Apple Watch Series 4 With LTE Now Available in Austria Via A1

Apple has released the Apple Watch Series 4 with LTE to the Austrian market. A1 is the first carrier in the country to offer the Apple watch Series 4 to its subscribers with an accompanying data plan.

Beginning today, A1 is offering the Apple Watch Series 4 with LTE, making it the only carrier on Apple’s list of carriers to support the wearable in Austria.

The A1 website lists the Series 4 (with integrated mobile radio) as being offered to customers with a data plan and no upfront cost. A monthly fee of 24.90 euro ($27.98) per month covering both the Apple Watch and the data plan, which provides 10 gigabytes of data usable throughout the European Union. Online buyers can also get the first month at no charge, but only id they are also buying an iPhone.

The carrier will send out the iPhone part of the purchase first, and then send out the Apple Watch in a separate shipment, 17 days after the iPhone SIM card is activated.

The U.K.’s O2 also recently began selling the Apple Watch with LTE to its customers.
