Apple Offers a Preview of ‘The Morning Show’ – Debuts on Apple TV+ This Fall

Apple on Monday offered a short video preview of “The Morning Show,” a new drama starring Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Steve Carell, which will premiere on the upcoming Apple TV+ streaming television service this fall.

The 1-minute-long video preview of the show hints at the behind-the-scenes tension involved in producing a fictional morning television show. The preview came courtesy of the official Apple TV Twitter account.

The video offers a sweeping view of the fictional morning show’s dressing rooms, control room, and stage. The background sound includes statements by the various characters that will appear in the series, indicating their motives, and the potential backstage bickering and backstabbing that could take place on the series.

The show was picked up by Apple as one of its first shows for the Apple TV+ service in late 2017. The show is based on the novel “Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV,” by CNN correspondent Brian Stelter. Two seasons, totaling 20 episodes have been ordered.
