Apple’s Shazam App Adds Dark Mode Support for iOS 13

The Apple-owned song discovery app, Shazam, has been updated to add Dark Mode support for devices running iOS 13 or above. Once the app has been updated, it will be displayed in Dark Mode whenever the mode is enabled on an iPhone.

The Wednesday update also adds other features, including the ability to long press on any track across the app to quickly add it to your favourite streaming app or share it with friends. A two finger swipe on a track list will now select them to allow them to be added to a playlist.

What’s New

We know you’re ready for iOS 13 – so is Shazam! Now you can Shazam in style with Dark Mode.

Long press on any track across the app to quickly add it to your favourite streaming app or share it with your friends. Want to quickly select a list of tracks to add to a playlist? Just place two fingers anywhere in a list of tracks and swipe down to multiselect

Apple acquired the Shazam app and service last fall, removing all ads from the app and making it free to use. While Shazam’s song identification feature is built-in to your iPhone, (just ask Siri to identify a song), the full Shazam app is available through the App Store. [GET IT HERE]
