Tim Cook Remembers Former Apple CEO Steve Jobs on the Eighth Anniversary of His Death

Former Apple CEO Steve Jobs succumbed to pancreatic cancer eight years ago Saturday, one day after a media event where the company’s iPhone 4s debuted.

As is traditional, current Apple CEO, and close friend of Jobs, Tim Cook tweeted a remembrance of the man who co-founded Apple back in the 70s. Cook shared a Jobs quote and a photo of the man in front of the iconic Apple’s Fifth Avenue retail store in New York City.

Apple offers a “Remembering Steve” page on its website, Where over a million people from all over the world have shared their memories, thoughts, and feelings about Steve.

We’d like to join in remembering Steve Jobs, even if it is a day late. We thank him for everything he accomplished and built. Without Mr. Jobs we wouldn’t be doing what we enjoy so much today. We miss you Mr. Jobs, thank you.
