Apple No Longer Signing iOS 13.2 Following Launch of iOS 13.2.2

Apple released iOS 13.2.2 on November 7, and as is traditional, the Cupertino firm has now stopped signing iOS 13.2, making downgrading to that version of iOS no longer possible.

iOS 13.2 was a major update that brought support for Apple’s new AirPods Pro wireless earbuds, added new emojis, and added Deep Fusion support for the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro.

Apple is known to stop signing older versions of operating systems after it releases a public update, as part of an effort to encourage users to keep their devices’ operating systems up to date.

iOS 13.2.2 is the current public version of iOS, and is a bug fix release that fixes an issue that caused apps running in the background to unexpectedly quit, leading to background apps refreshing more often than normal. The iOS 13.2.2 update also fixed other bugs with cellular connectivity, cellular data, Safari, and more.

iOS 13.3 is currently in beta, and is being tested by developers and public beta testers. The upcoming update introduces Communication Limits for Screen Time.
