Apple Seeds Third Beta of macOS Catalina 10.15.2 to Developers

Apple on Wednesday seeded the third beta of the macOS Catalina 10.15.2 update to developers. The beta comes one week following the release of the second beta and two weeks after the release of macOS Catalina 10.15.1 to the public.

The new developer build can be downloaded from the Apple Developer Center by participants in the program, or as a software update for Macs that have the proper profile installed from the Developer Center.

There weren’t any huge discoveries feature-wise in the first two betas. However, the usual performance updates, bug fixes, and security updates are most certainly included. If we find out more about what’s in the third beta of the 10.15.2 update, we’ll be sure to let you know.

As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on your daily driver Mac, instead only install it on a Mac set aside for testing purposes.
