Apple Announces Launch of Annual ‘Back to University’ Promo in Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, and Brazil

Apple on Monday launched its annual “Back to University” promotion, offering students and teachers in AustraliaNew ZealandSouth Korea, and Brazil, free Beats Studio3 Wireless Headphones or free Beats Solo3 Wireless Headphones with purchase.

Students can get free Beats Studio3 Wireless Headphones with the purchase of an eligible Mac, which includes the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, or iMac Pro.

Students that purchase an iPad Pro or iPad Air will score a free pair of Beats Solo3 Wireless headphones. Students can also opt for a pair of BeatsX Earphones instead, or they can pay an additional fee to upgrade to Beats Studio3 Wireless Headphones.

PDFs with full terms and conditions are available for each educational site: AustraliaNew ZealandBrazil, and South Korea.

To score the free or discounted Beats, students will need to add an eligible Mac or ‌iPad‌ to their shopping carts, where the option to add the headphones will come up automatically.

Macs and iPad Pro models are also available at a discounted cost when buying them through the Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, and South Korea educational stores, with discounts up to A$320, NZ$360, R$ 1.780 or KRW 271,000 on qualifying devices. AppleCare+ protection plans are also available at a 20% discount through the educational stores.

Students will also get a free year of Apple TV+ when they buy a new iPad, iPhone, Mac, iPod touch, or Apple TV. They can also get a heavily discounted Apple Music subscription.

Discounts are available for current and newly accepted university students, parents buying for students, and teachers and staff at all levels. Full time or part-time students aged 18 or over with a current student union card or student identification card and studying at an accredited Australian university or other Apple-approved institution; or a lecturer or staff member at an accredited Australian university; or a teacher or lecturer working at an Apple-approved and registered education establishment within Australia.

The promotion ends on March 16, 2020 in all four countries.
