New Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro Now Available to Order for Arrival Next Week

Apple today announced the new Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro is now available to order on Apple.com for delivery next week. Apple is jumping the gun a bit on availability for the item, as it had previously announced it would be ready in May.

The Magic Keyboard attaches magnetically to iPad Pro, putting the display at a viewing angle of up to 130 degrees. The portable design features a full-size keyboard with backlit keys and a scissor mechanism that delivers 1mm travel. A trackpad is included, which is supported by iPadOS 13.4.

The Magic Keyboard supports pass-through USB-C charging. When the keyboard is closed, the iPad Pro microphones are disconnected, preventing any audio data from being compromised.

The new Magic Keyboard is compatible with 2018 and newer iPad Pro models.
