Apple Releases macOS Catalina 10.15.7 – Fixes 27-Inch iMac Graphics Issues, WiFi Bug, More

Apple today released macOS Catalina 10.15.7, an update for its current macOS operating system. The update fixes several bugs that were plaguing macOS users.

The ‌‌‌‌macOS Catalina‌‌‌‌ 10.15.7 Update can be downloaded from the Mac App Store using the Update feature in the System Preferences app.

Apple says ‌macOS Catalina‌ 10.15.7 addresses an issue that causes random flashing lines to appear on the display of 2020 iMacs equipped with the Radeon Pro 5700 XT. It also fixes a bug that prevents files from syncing through iCloud Drive.

Soon after the release of the 2020 iMac, a small number of 2020 iMac owners began reporting issues with the Mac’s AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT GPU. While it was unclear if it was a software or hardware issue, today’s fix indicates that it was software-related.
