Leaker Claims New Color for Apple Watch Series 6, September 15 Availability

The leaker known as “L0vetodream” on Sunday shared information on the upcoming Apple Watch Series 6, including a new color, a new charging feature, and the device’s release dates.

The leaker account, which has scored with predictions in the past, claims the new Apple Watch Series 6 would be available in a new, unspecified color.

The new color could possibly be a new blue hue. The iPhone 12 is much -rumored to be arriving in a new blue color, and Apple is using an all-blue color scheme for its upcoming event on Tuesday. The new Apple Watch color could be blue to match the new iPhone 12 color.

The leaker also claims the new Apple Watch Series 6 will include fast-charging functionality. That feature could come in handy since watchOS 7 includes sleep-tracking functionality. A quick charge before bedtime could come in handy for users that take advantage of the sleep-tracking feature.

Additionally, another tweet indicates the new Apple Watch Series 6 will be available as soon as Tuesday, September 15, the same day as the Apple event. However, there is a possibility that the cryptic tweet is referring to other devices that may debut at the event, such as an expected iPad Air 4.

The leaker also says a new device will be priced for $569 to $599, and that price would likely be for the upcoming iPad Air 4, which should be announced this week.

Apple’s event will take place on Tuesday, September 15, at 10 am Pacific Time. Stay tuned.
