Apple Tells Developers App Store Connect Shutdown for Holidays Dec. 23 to Dec. 27

Apple has informed developers that its annual App Store Connect holiday downtime will run from December 23 until December 27. The period is when the App Store is closed to new app submissions and updates to give the staff time off for the holiday season.

The busiest season on the App Store is almost here. Make sure your apps are up to date and ready for the holidays, as new apps and app updates will not be accepted December 23 through 27 (Pacific Time). Please ensure time for your releases to be scheduled, submitted, and approved in advance. Other App Store Connect and developer account features will remain available.

During the downtime, Apple will not be accepting any new apps or app updates, so developers will need to make sure to lock in their pricing changes and new app submissions before the 23rd. So, developers planning to offer discounts or new content during the holiday season will need to keep that in mind.

Although App Store submissions will be unavailable During the shutdown period, other App Store Connect and developer account features will remain available during that timeframe.
