Report: March Launch For Sixth-Generation iPad Mini With 8.4-Inch Display, Slimmer Bezels

Japanese site Mac Otakara today shared details on a new version of the iPad mini Apple is reportedly working on. The sixth-generation iPad mini is said to feature a larger display and slimmer bezels.

The new iPad mini is said to boast an 8.4-inch display, up from the current 7.9-inch screen size. The new small tablet will have slimmer bezels and will resemble a smaller version of the iPad Air 3. A Mac Otakara report from earlier this week said Apple will also be using a similar design language for the ninth-generation base iPad.

The new iPad mini is said to continue to use a Touch ID button with top and bottom bezels and a Lightning port.

The publication says its sources tell it that the new iPad mini will see a March release.
