Apple Watch Users Can Unlock Virtual Workout Trophy on International Women’s Day

Apple Watch users will be able to unlock a virtual workout trophy to celebrate International Women’s Day, says a report by 9to5Mac.

International Women’s Day is celebrated every year on March 8, “celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.”

Apple Watch users will see an alert for the Activity Challenge in the days leading up to the event. To snag the award, Apple Watch users will be required to complete a workout of any kind with a length of at least 20 minutes.

Award winners will also unlock a series of five animated stickers for Messages and FaceTime. Apple has offered similar Activity awards for International Women’s Day in recent years, requiring the same 20-minute workout challenge.

The Activity Challenge is just the latest in a series of challenges promoted by Apple.
