First M1 iPad Pro Orders Shift to ‘Preparing to Ship’ Status

Apple customers that pre-ordered new 11 and 12.9-inch M1 iPad Pro models are beginning to see their order status shift to “Preparing to Ship” status.

MacRumors reports that its reader and numerous Twitter users are reporting their orders’ status changing. So far, none of them are reporting seeing an actual shipment notification, but that should happen in the near future. The new M1 iPad Pros are expected to begin arriving to buyers’ front doors on May 21.

Many pre-order customers report estimated delivery dates ranging from May 21 to May 28, and if orders ship out the next week or so, many should indeed receive their new precious on the expected May 21 date.

While customers also pre-ordered new M1 iMacs and second-generation Apple TV 4K devices at the same time should also soon see their order status shift to “Preparing to Ship” soon, although none have reported seeing a status change.
