watchOS 7.5 Released to the Public – Includes Apple Card Family and Subscription Podcast Support

Apple today released watchOS 7.5, the fifth major update to its watchOS 7 operating system for the Apple Watch.

watchOS 7.5 can be installed on an Apple Watch Series 3 and later via the Watch app on the device’s attached iPhone. Go to “General” -> “Software Update” to install the new software. The Watch should have at least 50% battery life, be connected to a charger, and be in the range of the iPhone.

watchOS 7.5 includes new features, improvements, and bug fixes, including support for Apple Card Family, as well as subscription content in the Podcasts app. The ECG app and irregular heart rate rhythm notifications are now available in Malaysia and Peru.

The update also includes the new Pride faces that are designed to accompany the 2021 Pride bands released by Apple today. The two new “Pride Woven” faces include an animated rectangle or circle design.
