Accessory Customizer ColorWare Debuts Custom-Painted AirPods 3

Accessory customizer ColorWare on Tuesday debuted custom-painted AirPods 3. The company is known for its customization options for AirPods, game console controllers and components, and more.

The customized AirPods 3 are available in a variety of custom paint colors, including a rainbow of color options – including bright glossy shades, metallics, and matte colors – as well as black, silver, and gold. Individual AirPods can be painted a different color, and the AirPods case can also be a different shade if you prefer.

Custom paint jobs for the AirPods are priced at $319, $369 when also colorizing the case. AirPods are priced at $179 direct from Apple, so getting a custom color is at least $140 more expensive.

While colorizing your AirPods is certainly expensive, it is currently the only way to get AirPods that are not white because Apple still does not offer AirPods in any other colors.

ColorWare says after the painting, all of the ‌AirPods 3‌ features remain in place, including MagSafe connectivity for the case, spatial audio, adaptive EQ, and more.

Custom ‌AirPods 3‌ can be ordered from ColorWare starting today, and they will ship out in about two to three weeks.
