Apple today released tvOS 15.1.1, a minor update to the tvOS operating system that was first released in September 2021. tvOS 15.1.1 is compatible with the Apple TV 4K (1st and 2nd generation ) and the Apple TV HD.
The tvOS 15.1.1 update can be downloaded via the Settings app on the Apple TV by going to “System” -> “Software Update.” If you have automatic software updates turned on your Apple TV will be upgraded to tvOS 15.1.1 automatically.
tvOS updates are usually minor, focusing on bug fixes and performance improvements. Apple provides limited information on what’s new in tvOS updates. However, it probably includes the usual “general performance and stability improvements.”
