Alongside Apple’s naming of its 2021 App Store Award recipients, the Cupertino firm also shared the most downloaded free and paid apps and games in the United States across 2021.
The number one most downloaded free iPhone app was TikTok, while the top paid iPhone app was Procreate Pocket.
The top free iPad app was YouTube, while the top paid iPad app was Procreate. The top free iPad game was Among Us!, and the top paid iPad app was Minecraft.
Apple this year also highlighted the top Apple Arcade games, with The Oregon Trail taking the top spot. Apple’s top 10 lists for each category are listed below.
