Apple Shares ‘Shot on iPhone’ Short Film, ‘Life is But a Dream’

Apple today shared another short film in its “Shot on iPhone 13 Pro” series. “Life is But a Dream,” was created by South Korean film director Park Chan-wook, known for “Oldboy,” “Lady Vengeance,” and other films.

The 21-minute film, financed by Apple, features an undertaker who needs woods to build a coffin for the savior of his village digs up an abandoned grave. But while doing so, he accidentally awakens the ghost of an ancient swordsman. Now the ghost tries to take back his coffin.

For those that enjoy behind-the-scenes peeks, Apple has also posted a “making of” video that explains how Park and his film crew used the iPhone 13 Pro’s features to create the short.

Apple’s “Shot on iPhone” series is a long-running Apple ad campaign, with Apple commissioning numerous short films.
