Bloomberg’s Gurman: Don’t Expect MacBook Air to be Available in a Range of iMac-Like Colors

The widely-expected 2022 MacBook Air will not be available in a wide range of colors similar to the 24-inch iMac, says Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.

Gurman has tweeted that the MacBook Air will likely be available in the standard space gray, silver, and gold colors, similar to prior models.

Gurman says that reports of “several colors” are probably “exaggerated,” as he is not expecting much more than the typical ‌MacBook Air‌ colors. Gurman notes that the gold color could be more of a champagne. He also says that it will be available in his “favorite ‌iMac‌ color,” a shade of blue.

The upcoming new 2022 MacBook Air is said to feature a redesigned chassis that’s more MacBook-like with no taper, several new iMac-like color options, white bezels, a white keyboard, and possibly, a faster M2 chip. We could see a new MacBook Air unveiled later today, during today’s WWDC 2022 keynote address.

MacTrast will be providing all the information about today’s keynote and possible hardware unveiling, so stay tuned.
