JP Morgan Analyst: Apple Music and Apple Arcade Revenue to Hit $8.2 Billion Annually by 2025

A JP Morgan analyst says Apple’s revenue from Apple Arcade and Apple Music will likely jump 36% to $8.2 billion annually by 2025.

Reuters reports that analyst Samik Chatterjee on Monday said Apple Music and Apple Arcade are likely to have a combined subscriber base of about 180 million by 2025 – with 110 million users paying for the company’s music services and 70 million for gaming – spurred by the continued spread of the internet and the booming gaming industry.

Apple Music was launched in 2015 and quickly grew to be the second-largest music streaming service after Spotify. The service is expected to bring in $7 billion in annual revenue by 2025. Apple Arcade, which launched in 2019, is expected to bring in $1.2 billion annually.

Apple does not individually break down sales numbers for gaming and music services but the overall segment, which includes App Store, Apple TV+, Arcade, and Apple Music, reported revenue of $19.82 billion for the March quarter.
