Ming-Chi Kuo: We Could See More Differentiation Between iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max

High demand for the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max could lead the company to further differentiate the next-generation iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, says Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Kuo says Apple could offer exclusive features for the iPhone 15 Pro Max next year to spur more customers to purchase the more expensive device.

Kuo said last week that Apple has told iPhone manufacturing partner Foxconn to increase its production of iPhone 14 Pro models, thanks to strong demand for the new devices Today, he noted that the ‌iPhone 14 Pro‌ Max accounts for approximately 60% of the total order increase of the Pro models.

Kuo’s comments jibe with a recent rumor from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman when he suggested that instead of an “‌iPhone 15‌ Pro Max,” we’ll get an “‌iPhone 15‌ Ultra.”

So far, the iPhone 15 lineup is expected to feature a USB-C connector in place of the current Lightning connector, a faster processor, and improved periscope telephoto lens technology.
