Apple Seeds First Beta of macOS Ventura 13.1 to Developers for Testing

Apple on Tuesday seeded the first beta release of macOS Ventura 13.1 to developers for testing. The new beta comes one day after the public release of the Mac operating system.

The developer build of macOS Ventura 13.1 can be downloaded by developers through the Apple Developer Center and once the correct profile is installed, succeeding betas will be available through the Software Update mechanism in System Preferences.

We don’t yet know what new features or changes are included in ‌macOS Ventura‌ 13.1 but should we find new features, we will update this article.

macOS Ventura is compatible with the following Mac models:

  • iMac 2017 and later
  • Mac Pro 2019 and later
  • iMac Pro 2017
  • Mac mini 2018 and later
  • MacBook Air 2018 and later
  • MacBook 2017 and later
  • MacBook Pro 2017 and later

As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver Mac, instead only installing betas on devices set aside for testing purposes.
