Kuo tweeted on Tuesday that Chinese supplier Luxshare has expanded production of the second-generation AirPods Pro to pick up the slack and the company is now the exclusive assembler of AirPods 2 earbuds for the foreseeable future.
Apple's key supplier Goertek officially announced on November 8 that the company recently received a notice from a major overseas client to suspend the assembly production for a smart acoustic product. My latest survey is as follows.

“Goertek’s suspension of production is more likely due to production issues rather than demand issues,” said Kuo, without elaborating on what the specific issues may have been.
Kuo said it’s unclear when Goertek production of the AirPods Pro will resume. He also didn’t say whether the issues affect any second-generation AirPods Pro already sold.
It remains to be seen if the loss of one assembly partner will have any impact on the availability of the popular wireless earbuds heading into the holiday shopping season.
