The popular Apple TV+ comedy series “Acapulco” has been renewed for a 10-episode third season. The series premiered in 2021 and ran for a second season in 2022. “Acapulco” is a bilingual Spanish-language and English-language series.
In 1984, Maximo Gallardo’s dream comes true when he gets the job of a lifetime at Acapulco’s hottest resort, Las Colinos. But he soon realizes that working there will be far more complicated than he ever imagined.
Season three follows present-day Maximo Gallardo as he returns to a Las Colinas he no longer recognizes. In 1985, younger Maximo works to climb the ladder of success, while also risking the ruin of relationships he’s built.
While no streaming date for the third season has been announced, production on the third season will begin in spring 2023. Viewers can catch up on the previous two seasons on Apple TV+.
