Apple on Tuesday seeded the second beta of macOS Ventura 13.3 to developers for testing. The new beta comes two weeks after the release of the first macOS Ventura 13.3 beta.
The developer build of macOS Ventura 13.3 can be downloaded by developers through the Apple Developer Center and once the correct profile is installed, succeeding betas will be available through the Software Update mechanism in System Preferences.
Like the iOS 16.4 and iPadOS 16.4 betas, macOS Ventura 13.3 brings new emoji characters that include shaking head, pink heart, blue heart, gray heart, donkey, moose, blackbird, goose, wing, jellyfish, hyacinth, pea pod, ginger, fan, comb, flute, maracas, left hand, and right hand.
It also supports updating to the new HomeKit architecture. The Messages app now supports content previews for shared Mastodon links, and new options in Shortcuts allow the creation of workflows with Siri notification announcements.
macOS Ventura is compatible with the following Mac models:

- MacBook 2017 and later
- MacBook Pro 2017 and later
As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver Mac, instead only installing betas on devices set aside for testing purposes.
