New Renders Show Rumored iPhone 15 Pro Design With Thinner Bezels, Thicker Camera Bump, and USB-C Port

We’ve heard rumors about multiple design changes that are on the way for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Now, comes new design renders from Ian Zelbo (first shared by 9to5Mac).

While the iPhone 15 lineup will replace its traditional Lightning port with a USB-C port, the renders show the port won’t look significantly different, although the neighboring speaker holes may show some changes.

The ‌iPhone 15‌ lineup is expected to feature four models, including the ‌iPhone 15‌, ‌iPhone 15‌ Plus, ‌iPhone 15‌ Pro, and ‌iPhone 15‌ Ultra.

Apple’s high-end models in next year’s iPhone 15 lineup will be powered by the A17 Bionic chip, which could be as much as 35% more efficient than current iPhone processors if it uses TSMC’s new 3nm fabrication technology. The new handset is also expected to boast a titanium frame, solid-state haptic volume buttons, and USB-C replacing Lightning connectivity.

The ‌iPhone 15 Pro‌ models are expected to have somewhat thinner bezels than the iPhone 14 Pro, plus a minor change to the curve of the edges is expected. The frame is slightly more curved and the glass curves into the edges.

These renders show a thicker camera bump than the iPhone 14 Pro camera bump. Thicker lenses are also expected for the iPhone 15 Pro camera. The ‌iPhone 15 Pro‌ Max is expected to get a periscope lens that will not be available on other ‌iPhone 15‌ models.

Overall, the ‌iPhone 15 Pro‌ models will look similar to the ‌iPhone 14 Pro‌ models based on these renders, but there will be notable design updates.
