Apple Releases iTunes 12.12.8 for Windows

Apple on Wednesday released iTunes 12.12.8 for Windows. The update brings security improvements and “support for new devices.” iTunes for Windows was last updated (to version 12.12.7) in December 2022.

Download and use iTunes for Windows 10

With iTunes for Windows 10, you can manage your entire media collection in one place. Subscribe to Apple Music to access millions of songs. Buy music and movies from the iTunes Store. And sync content from your computer to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Apple mentions in the update notes of support for “new devices,” which likely refers to Apple’s HomePod, which was released in January 2023. Apple also introduced new 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro models and refreshed versions of the Mac mini right around that time.

iTunes for Windows is free and can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store or from Apple’s website.
