Apple Releases watchOS 9.5 to the Public

Apple today released watchOS 9.5 to the public. The update brings several new features to Apple Watch Series 4 and later. The new update comes one month following the release of watchOS 9.4.

watchOS 9.4 can be downloaded for free through the dedicated Apple Watch app on the iPhone by going to “General” -> “Software Update.” The Apple Watch needs to have at least a 50% battery charge, needs to be on a charger, and needs to be in the range of the ‌‌iPhone‌‌.

The watchOS 9.5 update adds the Pride Celebration watch face to match the 2023 Pride band and also includes unspecified bug fixes.

watchOS 9.5 is expected to be one of the final updates to the watchOS 9 operating system as Apple is expected to preview watchOS 10 at WWDC in June.
