Apple Starts Notifying WWDC 2023 Swift Student Challenge Winners

Apple Starts Notifying WWDC 2023 Swift Student Challenge Winners

There is a bit less than a month to go before Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2023) kicks off and Apple has begun notifying winners of this year’s Swift Student Challenge. Applicants can check their status on Apple’s website.

The lucky challenge winners will receive exclusive WWDC 2023 outerwear, AirPods Pro, a customized pin set, and one year of membership in the Apple Developer Program. Student submissions had to be an interactive scene in an app playground that could be experienced within three minutes. Submissions were judged on technical accomplishment, the creativity of the ideas, and the content of written responses explaining the project and other app development experiences.

WWDC 2023 will be held online from June 5 through June 9. The conference will be held mostly online, and it will be open to all developers at no cost. Along with announcements shared from the keynote and State of the Union presentations, this year’s online program will include sessions, one-on-one labs, and opportunities to engage with Apple engineers and other developers.

Select developers and students will also have the opportunity to attend a special day at Apple Park on June 5 to watch the keynote and State of the Union, alongside the global online community.
