Display Analyst Young: 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch Displays to Be Exclusive to iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max

Display analyst Ross Young says that while Apple plans to introduce larger 6.3 and 6.9-inch display sizes for the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max in 2024, the two Pro models will be the only models to get a change in screen size. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus models will continue to feature the same 6.1 and 6.7-inch display sizes currently in use.

Young, who has a good track record when it comes to display-related predictions about Apple products, said earlier this week that the two iPhone 16 Pro models will boast larger displays. He has now confirmed to MacRumors that those larger screens will be a Pro exclusive.

Young says the 6.3 and 6.9-inch display sizes are rounded up, and that additional information on the specific measurements will be shared at the Display Week conference in Los Angeles on May 23.

If Young is correct, the planned larger display sizes for the ‌iPhone 16‌ Pro and Pro Max will be the biggest screens that Apple has introduced to date.
